Two songs I can't remember.

One has to do with having fun. It's sung by a girl, but it's not "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun". I think it came out in the 90s, and one of the lines is something like, "want to have fun 'til the brights lights of __ boulevard..."

I have only heard this song on the radio once, and I was lucky enough at that time to get it on tape. It was played in September or October 2001, between one week and one month after the attacks in New York. Ok, I was half asleep when I heard this song, so I'm a litle fuzzy on details.. it was acoustic sounding, with a man singing and it sounded a bit like Jose Gonzales. Okay, I'm thinking of a song from probably around the late 90's/early 00's, with an intro that's acoustic guitar, and it's probably from one of the minor boybands (so not *NSYNC or BSB). Can anyone tell me who does the cover of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" that was played inbetween auditions on American Idol tonight? I think it was played while the guy auditioned with the mother who is sick. It was acoustic.
